Significant production advantages within a month

In response to  inning a large order to supply glass-centred four piece sliding doors, designed for wardrobe and bathroom pods for hotel rooms, Forest Contracts recently acquired a clamp and radio frequency gluesetter from Lamont. An RF gluesetter will set glue in seconds, significantly faster than air drying times. Forest Contracts’ buyer, Mark Saunders, was asked to research the market for a solution. Mark’s verdict was that “the Lamont system came up trumps”. He continues, “I understand that Lamont has been around a long time and is a very experienced company. I spoke to Alan Lamont directly and dealt with him all the way through. He offered a good product, and was prepared to help me out in any way he could. He gave us exactly what we were  looking for and the service was excellent.” The equipment has offered significant time savings in gluing while at the same time freeing up space that would have been required for clamping, thereby offering significant production advantages within a month of being installed. Mark Saunders told PW&SS that an initial run of 112 glass centred four-piece sliding doors was already in production, with work on a further 188 due to start shortly. The equipment has proved so useful that it is sure to be utilised for other projects, he added. Mark would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
